Detox Care
During The Detoxification Process: There is a myriad of substances, coupled with potentially arduous outside circumstance, and oftentimes mental health concerns that all play into the individualized care each patient receives at Reggie’s Recovery.
Detoxification from illicit substances often lasts between 3 and 10 days, however
sometimes can resolve quicker. On the other hand, sometimes a detox can be more
difficult than expected, that’s where we come in to try and walk our clients through the first step in the passage to freedom from addiction.

RTC Care
Residential Care: After completion of a largely medical detoxification process, clients
transition into our Residential Program that often lasts 3-4 weeks in duration.
During this time, clients begin addressing the underlying core issues at the heart of addiction, ameliorate immediate outside issues, involve themselves in community support, and try to begin a blueprint for changing the trajectory of their lives in a radical way.
Reggie’s Recovery is a strictly non-judgemental environment that believes firmly that each person’s road to recovery is different, so long as they remain open and willing.
Reggie’s provides the tools for clients to address their emergen issues through 12 step meetings, multiple sessions with licensed counselors weekly, multiple sessions with addiction
counselors weekly, onsite doctor’s visits and follow ups, mandatory psychiatric
evaluation, detailed discharge planning to optimize success, and through case
management support services.
What is PAWS?
“Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome” refers to a set of symptoms that can persist after the initial withdrawal phase from substances like alcohol, opioids, or other drugs. Unlike acute withdrawal, which is characterized by severe physical symptoms and typically resolves within a few days to a week, PAWS can last for weeks or even months.
Symptoms of PAWS might include:
● Mood swings
● Anxiety or depression
● Difficulty concentrating
● Sleep disturbances
● Fatigue
● Cravings
Managing PAWS often involves ongoing support and treatment, including therapy,
medication, and lifestyle changes, to help individuals maintain recovery and manage symptoms effectively. It is important to note that recovery is a process based on
progress, not perfection or total resolution in one brief period.
